Prize-winning celebration tray with fascinating detail
Displays a desirable aged patina, with light tarnishing from decades of gentle polishing
Bright, reflective silver plate beams with crisp tonality
Attractive shaped handles adorned with scrolled leaf decoration
Engraved upon a diamond lozenge to centre, with pattern border to tray edge
Engraving reads '1st Prize, San Stefano Regatta, 5th September, 1897 - Gwyneth
Further personally engraved to a Stephen Nowill
Maker's marks to rear bear the Nowill name and D* trademark for John Nowill of Sheffield
