This is an antique inlaid serving tray. An English, teak and Mother of Pearl decorative afternoon tea or campaign tray, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
Striking example of Georgian marquetry
Desirably aged over two centuries with an appealing, well-used patina
Select teak shows fine grain interest and vibrant russet hues
Mother of Pearl and brass foliate inlays a decorative flourish - some losses present
Further inlay detail adorns the shallow tray edge
