This is a trio of vintage dinner trays. A Japanese, lacquered serving platter with woven bamboo centres, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.
Vibrant decor across three useful serving trays Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Lacquered in deep black hues with a light gloss finish Tightly woven bamboo tray surfaces in very good condition Accentuated with gold tooling in foliate form, with Greek key pattern to sidesThis is a distinctive trio of vintage dinner trays, with superb lacquer finish and appealing woven bases. As useful today as they were 80 years ago. Delivered polished and ready to serve.
