WW1 British Officer’s High Lace up Trench Boots. Made from leather with full lace up fronts and steel toecaps. C1914
These boots would have been worn by any officer in the trenches during WW1, these boots remain in original condition, the leather shows minimal signs of wear. Though the boots do not seem to have a visible makers mark the sole has the very distinctive waterproof seaming to the front especially designed in WW1 for trench use and only worn by British Forces in that period. The special rubber soles to these Boots was patented by the company “Sole-Vulcan”
These boots would make a great addition to any collector or as a display piece. A lovely and unusually complete pair of British Officer's Trench Boots, complete with trees. (Size large boot approx size 10)
