About this item
Original one-penny programme for The Euston Theatre of Varieties, dated Monday 29 December 1902. Its decorative red cover shows an illustration of the theatre building, while the inside opens out to reveal the evening’s variety bill and advertisements for local businesses.
The bill includes music hall comedian Harry Bedford, the Boisset Troupe performing An Evening Party, and acts including Dutch Daly, Ike Scott & Son and juggler Valoni. Bedford is the strongest name for the listing; the Boisset Troupe is also of interest to music hall collectors.
Condition Report
The condition of the programme is very good. The programme has light discolouration, a few marks and handling wear, with creasing along the folds and some wear at the edges. The illustrated front remains attractive and the printed bill is legible
