Fine Anglo-indian Rosewood Sideboard

A handsome Anglo Indian Regency sideboard. Crafted from beautiful solid rosewood, the up-stand having superb carved detail above the breakfront top which has a rope carved edge above three frieze drawers which have chamfered inset fronts with solid rosewood linings. The pedestals each have applied sarcophagus shaped panels and further superb crisp carved detail. One pedestal retaining the original lead lined cellarette drawer with shelf above, the other has 2 adjustable shelves and both have working locks with keys. The pedestals raised on rope carved friezes with turned and fluted feet. The condition throughout is fine and the colour and patina is wonderful. Dimensions:- Max.Height…48’’/122cm.
