About this item
An impressive 19th. Century oak and mahogany drum table. The top having a gilt tooled dark red leather inset with cross banded and thumb moulded edge. The frieze having 4 true and 4 dummy drawers all retaining brass ring pulls, brass escutcheons and working locks with keys. The table is supported on a baluster turned column with 4 out-swept and reeded legs terminating in lion’s claw feet and casters. Condition- Very good with no damage or repairs and benefiting from mahogany linings. Transports in 2 pieces.Dimensions:- Height…29.25’’/ 74.5cm. Diameter 53.5’’/ 136cm. Kneehole Height…23.5’’/ 60cm.
