About this item
Very rare late Victorian mcdougalls self raising flour pictorial enamel sign, this one being the beautiful cobolt blue and white example as opposed to the brown and white example. After having both I much prefer the blue. With the superb detailed pie to the centre in baking dish. A beautiful enamel sign for a kitchen. With the imperial enamel company mark to the corner. With the most beautiful grey enamelled back just shows how early this superb enamel sign is. This sign is a hard one to get in good condition and also you never really see a glossy example. This is a lovely genuine example with no repair. A real credit to a collection. From the country most prolific flour company.
condition
some chips and wear to the enamel but the best example of one of these I have seen for a long time.
