About this item
Stunning example of a rare advertising tin sign by adkins advertising nut brown tobacco. Featuring famous old bill character. Bearing the signature of Bruce bairnfather who was a very famous cartoonist artist from the 20th century. He studied at the John hassel school of art in the early 1900s . He then went on to sketch many advertising artworks for various company. He's much more sort after character old bill who features on this tin sign. A stunning piece of advertising done by a great artist. All the printing is raised and embossed. A quality tin sign and very hard to find in any condition. Would look great on a wall.
