About this item
Sweet and well modelled Dutch silver swan vinaigrette or pounce pot with hinged opening base and original sponge. Finely detailed casting to the wings and head and engraved decoration to the feathers. The Dutch rampant lion 934 standard mark is on the back between the wings with the Minerva head stamped to the base.
Sheffield import marks for 1895, importer Samuel Boyce Landeck and further lion passant stamp inside the base.
It measures 5cm (2") long, 3cm (1 1/4") wide and 5cm (2") high and weighs 20g / 0.7ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or repairs and light surface wear.
