    About this item

An excellent George III silver salver, made in London in 1806 by Richard Crossley. The salver sits on three feet and is fully hallmarked underneath. The marks are legiable but rubbed. The front is engraved with swags and flowers and has a crest of a dove with an olive branch engraved in the cartouch. The edge is cast with an overall pie crust design with shell features. The salver is in very good condition and would make a great addition to any silver collection.
