About this item
A beautiful Edwardian cased silver gilt cup made in Chester in 1906 by Nathan and Hayes. It is a replica Mycenaean cup decorated with soldiers heads around the body and a single handle decorated with leaves. It was retailed by Dobsons of Piccadilly and is engraved underneath with the original owners name. It is in excellent undamaged condition and is fully hallmarked. A very collectable piece of Greek history which comes in its original case. Nathan and Hayes were renouned for making replicas of historical cups.
