About this item
An unusual shaped George III silver pocket snuff box. Made in Birmingham in 1811 by John Shaw. The box has canted corners and vacant cartouches on the top and bottom. The interior is fully gilded and there are hallmarks on the base and lid. The seven part hinge is tight and the top fits really well. A beautiful Georgian silver box and a great addition to any collection.
