About this item
A scarce Scottish Victorian agate and silver snuff box, made in Edinburgh by James Nasmyth in 1850. The top is a beautiful piece of moss agate and the base and sides are engine turned. The interior has a full set of hallmarks and has original gilding. The seven part hinge is tight and the lid closes with a snap. A great piece for any collection.
WEIGHT; 75grams or 2.4ozst.
