About this item
An early Nathaniel Mills cast top snuff box, made in Birmingham in 1828. The cast top depicts "King Solomon meeting the Queen of Sheba". The interior has original gilding and both top and bottom are hallmarked. The 15 part hinge is tight and the lid fits snuggly. The box is in excellent condition with a very crisp top with only minimal wear to the high points. It is a stunning box and would be a great addition to any collection.
