About this item
An extremely beautiful 18ct gold trimmed mother of pearl snuff box with a carnelian lid. By its style it was made in England around 1750 although unmarked it has tested as 18 ct gold. The fluorescent mother of pearl is studded and decorated with tiny gold pins. The gold and carnelian lid is a tight fit and pops open nicely. A fantastic box in excellent condition that would grace any collection.
