About this item
A stunning George III silver gilt table snuff box by Daniel Hockley of London 1810. There is a superb hand painted minature mounted on the lid. The minature is probably painted on porcelain and has three tiny hairline cracks around the edges. The box is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The interior has original gilding and both top and bottom have hallmarks. This is an excellent heavy quality box that would grace any collection.
