    About this item

A stunning silver gilt George III table snuff box. Made in London in 1812 by John Linnet and William Atkinson. The box has slight wear to the gilding on the high points and slight wear to the engine turning on the base, otherwise it is in exceptionally good condition. There is an original Tessiers ticket on the inside of the lid. The cast top shows a shooter and his dog pheasant hunting. There are full hallmarks inside . The 9 part hinge is tight and the lid fits snuggly.
