    A stunning George III silver gilt table snuff box. Made in London in 1812 by John Linnit and William Atkinson. The top has a cast scene of a medieval battle and there are full sets of hallmarks on the inside base and top, there is engraved initials G.R to MR. It has four ribbed sides and an engine turned base. The nine part hinge is tight and the lid fits well. Although 210 years old the box is in excellent condition with no repairs. A very collectable Georgian snuff box.
