    An extremely rare and famous George IV silver snuff box. Cast with the Pedlar design on the lid, made by John Linnet of London 1823. An icon snuff box which is in excellent undamaged condition, fully gilded and hallmarked inside. It's 17 part hinge is tight and the lid closes firmly. John Linnet is rightly described as one of England's greatest box makers, he worked from 1809 till his death sometime after 1824. The design is of a Pedlar selling bottles of wine in a market place. A valuable collectors piece.
