    About this item

An excellent George IV silver presentation snuff box made in Birmingham in 1822 by Thomas Shaw. The box has engine turning on the top and bottom and reeded sides. The interior has the original gilding and the inscription "From Major General White". (see Blogs section) The top has later Greek text. The box is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. It has a very interesting history and would be a great addition to any collection.
