    About this item

    Very sweet little George IV silver vinaigrette by John Bettridge, hallmarked for Birmingham 1821. Gilded inside with a simply pierced grill. The outside has 2  beautifully engraved panels set up on bevelled edges.  One side has a wiggle pattern surrounding a blank cartouche with bright cut engraved fine lined texture and dotted border. The other has a little flower in the centre of some geometric crossed bands. 

    It measures 2.5cm (1") by 2cm (3/4") and 1cm (3/8") deep and weighs 9.3g. 

    Condition is very good with no damage or repair and very light surface wear.
