About this item
A rare and decorative Scottish snuff mull made around 1825. These are almost unique to Scotland, made from a ram's horn, a silver top encrusted with a clear quartz crystal. It is in good used condition with no damage or repairs. These mulls very seldom have any hallmarks but have tested as silver. The horn is in good condition and has tight curled end. It has a tight hinge and a vacant cartouch on the body.
