    About this item

An exceptionally rare Scottish silver vinaigrette, made in Edinburgh c.1792 by W&P Cunningham. Both the top and bottom are hallmarked but the date letter is missing. The top and bottom are engraved with flowers and the top has initials. The grill if gilded as are the top and bottom interiors. The hinge is tight and the lid fits well. Scottish vinaigrettes are rare and it is the first I have seen by this quality maker. A great addition to any collection.
