    About this item

A very scarce Victorian silver table snuff box made by a little known maker Neill and Cook. Made in Birmingham in 1861. This very heavy box has a deep cast top with elaborate scrolls and a shooting scene. The base has a deep rim with scrolls, flowers and a vacant cartouch. The interior has original gilding and hallmarks on the top and bottom. The 17 part hinge is tight and the lid fits really well. In great condition with no damage or repairs. A very collectable piece of Victorian silver.
