    About this item

A very rare Victorian silver and mother of pearl table snuff box. Made in Birmingham in 1860 by Frederick Marston. Both the top and bottom are made from mother of pearl with the top being intricately carved with classical figures and swirls around the edge. The sides of the box are silver with engraved swirls. There is a full set of hallmarks on the rim. The box is in excellent condition with only a very tiny chip on the edge of the base. A superb box and a great addition to any collection.
