    About this item

A stunning William IV large silver table snuff box by Joseph Bettridge of Birmingham 1829. The box has an engine turned design on all panels with a foliate scroll thumb piece on the front. It also has a family coat of arms engraved on the top. The interior has original gilding with hallmarks on the top and bottom. The 17 part hinge is tight and the top snaps firmly shut. It is in generally very good condition with only slight surface scratches and wear due to its age. A great piece for any snuff box collector.
