About this item
A very unusual William IV silver vinaigrette with cast shells on each corner. Made in Birmingham in 1831 by William Steen. It has a beautifully pierced gilt grill and is fully hallamrked top and bottom. There is a vacant cartouch on the top and a foliate scroll thumb piece. The box is in excellent condition, the top and grill close tightly. A great collectors piece.
