An amazing Victorian silver canister style tea caddy. Made in Chester in 1897 by the renowned silversmith partnership of George Nathan and Ridley Hayes. They had shops at Howard Street in Birmingham and Hatton Garden in London and worked between 1895 and 1915. This tea caddy has beautiful and intricate designs of flowers, cornocopia, acanthus leaves and roses. There are crisp hallmarks under the base and a pull off top that has a flame finial. A very collectable and useable piece of rare silver.
