A stunning Victorian silver and glass desk inkset. Made in Sheffield in early Victorian times 1842 by the renouned silver company of Henry Wilkinson and Co. All the silver pieces have matching hallmarks and are in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. With two glass inkwells, a space for stamps and a taper stick holder this set has everything. It is embellished with acanthus leaf scrolls and all the pieces can be removed for cleaning. The candle holder has a removable sconce and a snuffer which is attached by a chain. A very collectable piece.
