    A superb Georgian silver 3/4 of a pint tankard by Pentecost Symonds, hallmarked for Exeter 1740. Of plain baluster form with a looped and crested handle and raised on a spreading circular foot. The marks are clear. In very good, clean condition. Superficial surface bruising and a couple of dings but very smart in appearance and perfectly usable today!
