    A sweet pair of late 18th century silver sugar tongs with feathered edges and S-ridged detailing to the circular bowls. The bridge also has impressed decoration enhanced with engraving and the initials of the owner. Partial hallmarks only, the lion passant and initials P.B for Philip Batchelor, c.1770.

    They measure 13cm (5 1/8") long and weigh 28g / 0.9ozt. 

    Condition is very good with no damage or repair and minor and appropriate handling wear.
