    About this item

    A sweet pair of George III silver sugar tongs by Peter & Ann Bateman. The ends formed as acorns with textured engraving and fine bright cut engraved decoration up the arms with flower and leaf pattern on each side. A simple monogram at the bridge. Hallmarked for 1793.

    They measure 14cm (5 1/2") long.

    Condition is very good with no damage or repair. Only very minor handling wear to the engraved borders over the bridge.
