This is a fabulous Georgian silver marrow scoop, made by Robert Perth, hallmarked for London 1750. Very good antique English Georgian solid sterling silver marrow scoop engraved "S WS" to the lamb bowl drop and with very good hallmarks
During the Georgian era, marrow scoops were essential dining utensils, particularly for extracting marrow from beef bones, a popular delicacy at the time. These spoons, often made of silver, had a distinctive design featuring a rounded spoon at one end and a narrower scoop at the other for removing marrow.
