About this item
An exceptionally rare Scottish Provincial Silver toddy ladle by William Smith of Peterhead in Aberdeenshire. There was very little silver produced in Peterhead which was a moderately wealthy fishing town. As such items are very scarce and command a high value. This oar pattern toddy ladle is in excellent condition with clear marks "WS", "PHD" "FOULED ANCHOR". A great addition to any collection.
