    About this item

An exceptionally rare Scottish Provincial Silver toddy ladle made by John Sellers in Wick c.1825. The fiddle pattern toddy ladle is in excellent condition with fantastic well struck marks "JS", "WICK". Wick silver is very rare and only a small amount was made. The town is the northern most Scottish mainland town to produce silver items for a very short period of time. Hence it's silver commands a very high price.  A must for any Provincial silver collector.
