This large Georgian sterling silver ladle carries the makers mark for Graham and McLean of Glasgow and was assayed in Edinburgh in 1801. It also carries a family crest, possibly Scottish, and the monogram I (or J) MB. It weighs 245 gms, (7.88 troy ounces) and measures 371 mm (14.5 inches) in length. It is in very good condition.
