A most beautiful Victorian silver claret jug with a hinged domed lid, pierced floral thumbpiece. The mount is embossed with panels of flowers, an empty cartouche and scroll handle. The tapering clear glass body has very fine engraving of garlands and flowers and stands on splayed star cut base.
