About this item
A scarce silver sugar basket made by Nathan and Hayes of Chester in 1915. Made during World War I this stunning basket has enraved initials on the front and bright cut engraving around the rim. The body has a full set of hallmarks (makers mark rubbed) and part marks on the handle. It also has the retailers mark on the base for A.P. Roger of Guernsey. It is a stunning piece of very collectable and useable silver.
