A fine Georgian silver pepper / spice caster with very decorative pierced cover and engraved with a version of the heraldic coat of arms of Great Grimsby. Hallmarked for London 1758, maker Jabez Daniell and matching partial marks to the cover.
It measures 14.5cm (5 1/2") high and 5cm (2") and weighs 129g / 4.1ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage, dents or repairs and light handling wear.
