    A beautiful George III silver gilt bonbon basket, made in London in 1764 by Edward Aldridge. The basket has a selection of cast swags and swirls with fretwork sides. There are a full set of hallmarks in the body and on the handle. Overall the basket is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The handle's hinges are tight and it stands up unsupported. A rare piece of Georgian silver.
