    About this item

A rare George III silver meat skewer, made in London in 1772 by William Abdy II. It is exceptionally well hallmarked and there is a lovely patina of knife marks on the blade of the skewer. There is a worn family crest and a weight mark on one side. This is a superb piece of Georgian silver that has been used and well looked after.
