Antique Silver Plate & Horn Oversized Decorative Cornucopia C1880s. A fabulous example decorated with scroled silver work, mythological fish tailed creatures and held up by a chubby sea god . A cornucopia is a celebration symbol of food and abundance dating back to the 5th century BC, also referred to as horn of plenty. Marked WMF this dramatic example in excellent condition was made in Germany by the Wurttemberg Metal factory.
