PRIMROSE PATTERN
W.T. Copeland Potteries
Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire England
c. 1881
This very large Victorian 19 " long x 15 1/4 " wide serving platter is transfer printed in brown against a creamy white background.
The pattern features a border of geometric leaf designs with fancy scrolls and periwinkle daisy flowers cascading into the well of the piece. A matching band wraps around the outside of the platter. A fabulous central image of an oversized exotic flower finishes off this great piece.
Excellent condition, clean and bright. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.
