    An ultra rare George III silver Channel Islands christening cup. Made by Pierre Mangy of Guernsey around 1753. This was a typical christening style of cup of this period. It is marked twice, on the lip and underneath with the makers mark "PM". The twin handles have typical beaded decoration on "S" scroll handles. There is a line of original French text across the front. An exceptionally rare piece of Guernsey silver in amazing undamaged condition. A real collectors item.
