    An elegant George III silver wine ewer. Made in London 1782 by John Scofield. It is a beautifully made plain ewer with only beaded decoration around the lip and rims. There is a full set of hallmarks under the foot and part marks on the lid. It has a fruitwood handle and an acorn finial on the lid. This is a classical piece of Georgian silver, useable and very collectable.
