    About this item

A perfect Georgian silver Salver/Waiter tray by John Langlands I & John Robertson I, hallmarked for Newcastle. The hallmarks are mint, with a perfect king's head strike but lacking the date letter. The maker's mark was in use from 1779 - 1791 so I have dated this Salver to this period. The tray is of a circular form and decorated with stylish bead borders and three ball and claw feet. It has no engraved crests or initials and is in perfect condition.
