About this item
This large sterling silver pig pincushion was made by Adie and Lovekin Ltd of Birmingham in what appears to be 1906 - the date letter is somewhat rubbed, but it is certainly of that period. The length of this muscular pig is 86 mm (3 3/8ths inches), it stands 46 mm (1.75 inches) high and is 28 mm (1 inch) deep. Although structurally sound, there are a few minor dents, a couple of light scratches, and his tail has been pushed in.
