    A superb George II silver pint tankard by John Edwards II, who used this mark from 1725 - 1732. Of tapered form, beautiful scroll handle. Hallmarked on the base with: Lion passant: sterling silver. Crowned leopard's head: London. Date letter is missing. Silversmith's mark: John Edwards II. It is a very handsome example, heavy gauge silver with no decorations or erasures. Watertight and would make a perfect antique drinking companion!
