    About this item

A superb Georgian silver pint tankard by Thomas Wallis I, hallmarked for London 1768. Baluster form with acanthus capped 'double C' scroll handle and raised footed base. There is a small set of Georgian contemporary initials. The handle is straight, firm and free of damage. The Foot rim is flat and there is no base wobble. The general condition of the body is excellent. There are no repairs. Hallmarks are exceptionally clear. Overall this is a very fine English Georgian silver tankard 233 years old and still in excellent condition
